Walk Against Family Violence 2023
Event description
Victoria University is proud to once again be joining individuals and organisations from across Victoria in Respect Victoria's annual Walk Against Family Violence on Friday the 24th of November.
This event takes place at the beginning of the annual 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence - a global campaign for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
VU invites all staff, students, partners and community members to join this march in our contingent from the steps of Parliament House through the CBD to stand in solidarity with victim-survivors of violence, and show that VU stands against gender inequality and all forms of discrimination and gender-based violence.
