Walk Against VIolence

Join us for our annual Walk Against Violence along the Nepean River as part of Penrith’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.

Walk alongside friends, family, workplaces, schools and community groups as we come together in support of a safer, more respectful community. 

By taking part, you’ll be helping to raise awareness and inspire positive change.

We encourage participants to wear something orange to the walk to show their support.

Event details: 

• Date: Sunday 29 November 2026      

• Time: 9am to 11.30am    

• Location: Meet at Tench Reserve, Penrith (opposite East Bank Dining Precinct) 

• Route: 1.7km loop walk  

This is a free community event. Registrations are encouraged and can be completed via Humanitix: [Insert link] 

Further route details: The walk will commence from Tench Reserve and proceed along the upper path adjacent to Tench Avenue. Participants will continue to the playground at Tench Reserve North, loop around the area and reconnect with the lower riverside path before returning to Tench Reserve.
