Walk Drink Draw

Feel a bit rusty or self conscious drawing in public?

 Join us for a confidence boosting drawing session, meeting at the Roots Gin shack, Vines Village, Marlborough .
we will stroll through the garden to sketch native plants, distant views of the blue Richmond ranges, reflections on the duck pond and more. Using your phone camera , note taking, and mindful exercises to unlock your ways of seeing.

We then return to the cozy ambience of the Gin Shack tasting rooms, to continue some drawing tasks, focusing on composition, form and texture, culminating in a group collaboration, whilst enjoying a drink and shared platter. 

walking, being in nature and drawing are good for the body and soul, complimentary sketchbook and pencil, glass of Gin and shared platter all included in the price.

NB if it is raining, we will still go ahead, but do more study indoors, using still life and sketching from refence photos provided. End time is approximate, but you will get at least a 2 hours drawing workshop.
