Join us for the Ipswich Hospice Walk to Remember — a community event where we come together to honour the memory of loved ones and celebrate 30 years of compassionate care provided by Ipswich Hospice.

📍 Location: Ipswich Cycle Track, 36 Huxam Street, QLD 4305
⏰ Time: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
This special event is part of celebrating 30 years of caring for the Ipswich community. Walk alongside others who understand the journey of grief, remembrance, and healing.

Whether you’re walking in memory, supporting a friend, or simply coming to reflect — you’ll be part of a beautiful day of remembrance and community.
💜 Participation Sessions:
There are three different sessions to choose from — join the one that suits you best:
🚴♂️ Fast Cycle (9:00 – 9:30 am)
For experienced riders, adults and youth aged 15–17 years (with parental consent). Designed for confident cyclists who ride at a faster pace.
🚶♀️ Walk (9:45 – 10:45 am)
Open to all ages and abilities — perfect for families, friends, and furry companions. Dogs on leads are very welcome.
🚴♀️ Slow Cycle (11:00 am – 12:00 pm)
Ideal for those who enjoy a more relaxed pace. A gentle, reflective ride for all skill levels.

8:00 am – Registration opens
9:00 am – Welcome
9:00 – 9:30 am – "Fast Cycle" Session
9:45 – 10:45 am – "Walk" Session
10:45 am – Poem reading and butterfly release
11:00 am – 12:00 pm – "Slow Cycle" Session
12:00 – 2:00 pm – Lunch and live music by Kayla

Registration tent will be located at the Huxam Street side of the venue

Limited disabled parking is available at Ipswich Hockey Association via Huxham Street

Street parking and a small car park are located at Briggs Road
-
Registration is required for all attendees, including children, due to participant number restrictions
