Event description

Proudly brought to you by the Te Awamutu Museum - Education & Research Centre

As part of Children's Day, join The ReCreators at Te Awamutu Museum for the Tui & Tama Eco Expo and enjoy a fun and creative weaving workshop!

In this workshop, kids will use a forked branch as a loom to create wonderful and colourful woven art pieces.

Participants will learn relaxing weaving techniques and leave with a beautiful woven creation.

It’s a fun way to learn to weave while using upcycled and natural materials.

All materials will be provided.

When: Saturday 1 March, 11 am - 1 pm

Where: Te Awamutu Museum, 55 Rickit Road, Te Awamutu 3800.

This is a walk up event, so you do not need to stay the whole time.

The ReCreators are on a mission to show the world how to reduce and reuse our natural resources. It's easy, fun, creative, and sustainable.

Join us on our journey!
