City of Ballarat, in partnership with RoadSafe Central Highlands, is offering:

'Walk with Care' - A road safety awareness presentation for pedestrians aged 55 and over

The presentation will include:

• The benefits of walking
• How age-related changes affect safety
• Tips to enhance safety when out walking
• Pedestrian injury and accidents
• Where to get more information

Where: Robert Clark Horticultural Centre, Gillies Street North, Lake Wendouree

(access via Gillies Street North or Wendouree Parade through Ballarat Botanical Gardens)

Time: 11.00am - 1.00pm

Cost: Free

11.00am - 12.00pm:  Education Presentation

12.00pm - 12.30pm:  Celebrate Global Road Safety Week with a free Morning Tea (registered attendees only)

12.30pm - 1.00pm:    Guided Walking Tour - Botanical Gardens (optional and weather permitting)

Free Parking at Gillies Street North or Wendouree Parade
