Walkern Wirin (Rainbow Spirit) Boorloo Blak Pride 2026

Walkern Wirin (Rainbow Spirit) Boorloo Blak Pride is back for 2026!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Walkern Wirin is a space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQA+ people (Rainbow Mob) and communities to come together with their families, allies and supporters to celebrate this beautiful intersection of our community.

This is a safe space that seeks to create opportunities for cultural immersion, cross community learning/sharing and community building. This event is open to all ages, intergenerational celebrations are an essential part of First Nations culture and facilitate two way learning. So bring along your koolangka (children) and your aunties and uncles!

Elders and Children under 12 are welcome to attend free of charge.

What to expect? We will have various activities including:

• Queereoke (make sure you practice your karaoke song!)

• Line dancing

• arts n craft activities

• stalls from local organisations

• Deadly DJs

We have tiered ticketing to enable this event to be as accessible as possible. This event is made by Rainbow Mob for Rainbow Mob, we acknowledge that this event takes place on the unceded lands of the Whadjuk Nyoongar People and pay our respects to Elders past and present who have cared for Boodja for millennia. We promise to tread lightly across Boodja.
