Event description
Meet at Dellavadova Fertilisers in Maryborough (over the railway line opposite the skate park) and walk to Carisbrook. A shuttle bus will take you back to Dellavadova's where your car is parked. This is a 6 to 7 kilometre walk over sometimes uneven terrain. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Suitable footwear such as walking boots or walking shoes are advised. Make sure you wear a hat, suitable breathable sun protection clothing and sunscreen. Carry adequate water for what we anticipate will be an approximately 2-hour walk. Check the weather forecast on the day and adjust your preparations accordingly. The walk will be cancelled if the BOM weather forecast indicates it would be dangerous to proceed. If this eventuates, a refund will follow.
