Description

Explore your creativity in this workshop with a difference combining noticing, writing, and walking. Meet like-minded others for this surprising, fun activity. We walk a short route, gather words from signs and turn the words into a written piece. No experience needed - just curiosity, pen and notebook.

The workshop is designed to promote creativity and connection, and is part of the Upstageing Festival in Canberra. #upstageingcbr

Civic (Canberra, ACT): 20, 23, 25 March 10-11:30

Dickson (Canberra, ACT): 25 March 2-4pm, 26, 27 10-12pm

  • Where will we meet?

    After you register, you will receive another email with the details close to the event. The event will be in Civic (Canberra, ACT) 20,23,25 March and in Dickson 25, 26 26 March. Choose your ticket based on location.

  • How much walking will there be?

    We will walk approximately 8 city blocks in total. The area is flat, some shop buildings provide undercover. Our walking will be interrupted as we note down words. A backpack or over-the-shoulder bag is suggested so that it is easy to write in the notebook.

  • How many people will there be?

    This is a small group activity of up to 10 people.
