Wander Werribee Gorge with Wyldkynd
Event description
Put your phone on airplane mode, ditch your to-do lists, and connect to your TRUE NATURE and creativity through an inspiring photography and mindfulness walk with Wyldkynd, in a magical patch of nature in Melbourne.
Are you spending your life doing what’s truly important to you?Â
Most of us aren’t... The pull of our programs and stories we tell ourselves are huge! That’s what makes kids so innocent and beautifully creative, they don’t have those programs and they don’t care if they’re any good. They generally throw themselves at whatever project you put in front of them.
Human creativity is nature manifested in us and is an essential part of our future. It's not just something that’s pleasant, it’s vital and it's the way we heal each other and the world. Will you give yourself permission to be creative?
The Wyldkynd experience and what you'll learn:
On this walk, you'll learn the fundamentals of different types of photography composition and what makes a good shot. Photography is an accessible way to be creative, when you may not feel confident painting or drawing. Although it can help, you don’t need fancy equipment, all you need is the smartphone in your pocket!
As well as helping to to reconnect to your creativity through photography, you'll also be taken through lessons that can be gained from connecting with the natural world, that have assisted greatly in my own journey. Mother Nature is the best teacher – She is fierce, she is kind, she is beautiful and she nurtures.
Your guide Bec, will guide you through a meditation to help you quiet your mind, calm your nervous system and become connected energetically with Mother Nature.
Some of the wildlife you might see are – Kookaburras, Superb Fairy-wrens, Grey Fantails, Swamp Wallabies, Skinks and lots of dragonflies. As nature is unpredictable though, there's no guarantees what you'll see on the day.
For just a few hours, not too far from the city, join an intimate group of people and give yourself the gift of nourishment and inspiration in nature. With all of the challenges of the past couple years, we need this connection more than ever. Time to disconnect from life’s demands and deeply reconnect with your true nature.
