Wander with Wonderment

Reconnect with nature, creativity, and your own sense of wonder on this gentle beach wander. Together we'll slow down, notice the small treasures and let the natural world inspire our imagination.

We'll create simple shadow paintings, print textures from shells, seaweed, feathers, and other natural finds using Blu Tack and ink, experiment with easy watercolor and sketching, and spend time watching the waves for dolphins, seals... and maybe even a mermaid!

No artistic experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down, connect, and see the world through fresh eyes. Suitable for all ages.

This is a free event with a maximum of 20 people. A family or an adult and 1-2 children counts as 1.

Bring a sense of adventure and some supplies including:

a wad of blue tac and an ink pad if you have one.

Some paper towel

watercolour paper, a pot and paints if you have some and a watercolour brush. I suggest a refillable water brush so that you don't have to carry a pot of water around.

Temu have some water brushes and lots of little paint sets, probably not artist quality but that's OK

coloured pencils - just a few of your favourites will do.

I will have some supplies you can borrow on the day or let me know a week before hand if you'd like to buy a kit.

A kit is some good quality watercolour paper, dot samples of watercolour paint (enough for the day) and a waterbrush.
