Event description

UPDATE: There are still tickets available for this event. However, we have activated the waitlist for general admission to better regulate registrations and ensure fair access to the forum, as per the event Terms and Conditions (below). Ticket releases and updates will be announced on the SWVA Facebook page.

Come and watch the candidates for Wannon go head-to-head in this flagship federal election event.

You will hear the candidates' views on the key issues facing voters across south-west Victoria, and have a chance to ask your burning question.

Hosted by journalist Kirsten Diprose, this forum will feature contributions from:

  • Federal MP Dan Tehan (Lib.)
  • Independent challenger Alex Dyson (Ind.)
  • Labor candidate Fiona Mackenzie (ALP)
  • Greens candidate Kate Gazzard (Grn.)
  • Dr Bernardine Atkinson (Ind.)

This forum will be livestreamed through local council Facebook pages and via the Warrnambool Standard

You do not need to register to watch the livestream.

This event is being organised by the SouthWest Victoria Alliance, which advocates on behalf of communities across a vast region that includes the shires of Colac-Otway, Corangamite, Glenelg, Moyne, Southern Grampians and the City of Warrnambool.
