WAO SUMMIT 2023

Our six-day Wao Summit is back in it’s 6th year running, delivering a program that focuses on collective climate action, with events running across the Southern Lakes including Lake Wānaka, Queenstown and Glenorchy.

This year's event is aimed at community action around resilience, collaboration, circular economy, and climate action and biodiversity. We have kōrero, workshops, films and tours all designed to help you, help the planet. Whether you’re new here or been on this ride for a while, you’re sure to find something that will inspire you into action.

This year we'll also be hosting the Butterfly Effect networking lounge at the Lake Wānaka Centre! From Tuesday through Friday during Summit week, join us for daily networking sessions with like minded individuals. We will be serving B.Effect refreshments, local wines and a selection of locally sourced nibbles. Open 4:30pm-7:30pm
