WAPPERIN – AUSTRALIA TOUR 2025

For the first time ever, Nagoya’s extreme new wave mavericks, WAPPERIN, are bringing their high-energy chaos to Australia! Formed in 2009, this powerhouse band has been shaking Japan’s underground scene with their electrifying performances and raw, unpredictable energy.

Led by the unstoppable FUJIN (vocals/keys) and HIROSHI HASEGAWA (drums), with KAMISAMA, MAKOTO ITO, and KOTSUKOTSU KOTSURO unleashing madness on guitar, keys, and bass, WAPPERIN’s live shows are a sonic hurricane of pounding beats, twisted synths, and unhinged energy—pure onstage mayhem that leaves no survivors.

Vogli Bonze aka Mitsu, is lead guitarist and vocalist for Japanese band Buddhadatta (Nagoya, Japan). Vogli Bonze is a Buddhist monk in training who has infused Buddhist Sutras into punk rock. Joining Vogli Bonze for the night is Toshi Maeda (Mach Pelican) on drums.
