Warehouse Workshops: UP LATE

Good Gravy Studio presents our first series of UP LATE workshops at The Warehouse, Noosa. 

Art workshops for the young at heart. Participants must be 18+ to attend.

Facilitated by Secondary Visual Art Educator and Good Gravy Studio creator Jess Stansbie, our UP LATE workshop is the first workshop we have run for the big kids! This one will explore the media area of ceramics. Participants will experiment with hand building techniques, and make a series of small, resolved clay works. For those that feel confident and have used clay before, you will have the opportunity to go rogue if that is what you're up for and create your own special something. These works will be fired in a professional kiln and delivered to your door approximately 3 weeks later. (Delivery to Sunshine Coast area only)

Saturday 11th November 6-9pm. 

Things to note: 

• Workshops begin at 6pm. Please arrive at 5:50pm for registration.
• We begin our workshop at 6pm, where you'll be guided through the basics of hand-building with clay. You will then have the choice to be guided through the making of a series of small pottery pieces, or go your own way and make your own special piece. 
• All art materials are provided and are included in the cost. *The clay workshop cost includes firing your clay works. 
• We will be using messy materials, however aprons will be available for your use during the night.
• Your ticket cost includes a free drink on arrival and nibbles - be sure to arrive on time so you can hook into the beautiful grazing platter. 
• Please advise if you have any food or other allergies, or medical conditions.
• If you would like to bring additional drinks, you may do so. Please provide your own cups and means of keeping your drinks chilled if required. 
• Photos will be taken throughout each workshop. Please advise in writing if you DO NOT consent to photos of you being shared on social media. 
• These workshops are designed for humans that love art, want to learn more about art, or for those that just want to play for a few hours. We want everyone to feel safe in this awesome space while we create. 
• Poor behaviour from participants will not be tolerated. Be kind always.
