WarriorHER - The Mindset Movement for Women Facing Cancer

WarriorHER – The Mindset Movement is a transformative wellness workshop designed for women currently undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment at SWSLHD Liverpool Cancer Services or in South Western Sydney. This free event offers a safe, inclusive space for reconnection, reflection, and resilience-building. Through expert-led guided sessions, participants will receive practical tools to support emotional and mental wellbeing during and after treatment.

Whether you are in active treatment or navigating survivorship, WarriorHER is about building strength from within — together.

Meet Your Mentor – Melissa De Cosmo

Melissa De Cosmo, founder of the Positive Mindset Project, will lead our inaugural WarriorHER workshop with her empowering, mindset-focused approach. She’s a teacher-turned-growth mindset mentor and positive psychology coach, passionate about helping both adults and children as well as empowering women on their cancer journey to rewire their thinking for confidence, resilience, and success. Through workshops, programs, coaching and digital resources, Melissa supports children, parents, educators and individuals navigating life’s challenges — from school pressures to health journeys — with practical tools that build a growth mindset. Her mission is to make mindset work simple, accessible, and empowering, grounded in real-life strategies that truly support personal growth and emotional wellbeing.
