Warwick Automotive Picnic Races 2025 - NO BYO

The Warwick Turf Club announces that the 2025 Warwick Automotive Picnic Races, scheduled for Saturday, 21 June 2025, will be a NO BYO event following a directive from our governing body.

As the last race club in Queensland to host a BYO event, we were fortunate to continue the tradition for as long as we did. However, with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations at the forefront, the risks associated with patrons bringing and serving their own alcohol have led to this necessary change. Disorderly conduct, including offensive, threatening, or violent behaviour, is a key concern when alcohol consumption is unmanaged.

While this marks the end of an era, the Warwick Turf Club is committed to delivering an amazing Picnic Races experience in 2025. 

The following food/beverage package is $120 per person - 18 plus section only

• Reserved private table of 10 or shared table seating
• Racecourse entry & Kidszone Australia Trackside Pavilion access (up to 400 people)
• 5 Hour drinks package with sparkling, wines, premix spirits, beers (all with non-alcoholic options) & soft drinks from 12pm to 5pm
• Food service will consist of 2 platter drops (serves 10ppl)
• • Hot Platter (first drop) – assorted quiches, bourbon meatballs, pork chipolatas, chicken wings & mini lamb pies
  • Cold Platter (second drop) – meats, cheeses, dip, crackers, dried fruit, nuts, fresh fruit & veggies, sweet slices & chocolates
• In-venue screens and betting facilities
• Easy access to behold the Warwick Hotel Fashions on the Field
• Enjoy Live Entertainment by POLR from 4pm to 7pm
• Still an option – you can decorate your table/s to keep a snippet of our traditional Picnic Race Day (Gates will be open from 7am to 10.30am for decorating purposes) Winner will receive a $500 cash prize.

General Admission is $15 per adult / Children 17 & Under Free
