Welcome & Introduction - Why waste reduction matters and what we can achieve as a community.
What's in Our Waste? – Personal Waste Audit Participants will complete a small waste audit of their own household waste. We’ll look at what is being thrown away, identify items that could potentially be reduced, reused, recycled or composted, and consider simple changes that could make a difference. This hands-on activity will help participants understand their own waste habits and identify realistic opportunities to reduce the amount they send to landfill.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - Practical ideas for making better choices and keeping useful materials out of landfill.
Food Waste - Simple ways to reduce food waste, save money and make use of food scraps.
Practical Activity - Interactive activities to identify everyday waste-reduction opportunities.
Questions & Discussion - An opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and discuss local solutions.
Take-Home Tips & Action Plan - Participants will identify a few simple changes they can take home and put into practice immediately.
