Event description

Please join us for the opening night of the 2025 Sustainable Neighbourhoods Waste to Art exhibition.

Community members, artists and school students from across the region have created a range of thought-provoking artworks exploring issues of waste, litter and overconsumption. 
Explore a range of works including wearable pieces, sculptures, cute characters and functional household items.

The exhibition gives us some pause to think about the items that are all around us; what they are made from, their purpose; and the value of those materials that would otherwise end up in landfill or littering our waterways.

Opening night
Friday 17 October, 6pm
