Water as Muse: A Creative Arts workshop
Description
Water has a strong maternal and life-giving association. It can represent the "mother-body", serving as a source of both physical and spiritual nourishment. In this therapeutic art 'working' you will be invited to explore mark-making with water and colour, along with paper folding as gentle pathways of self-exploration and emotional transformation, connecting to the gentle aliveness of water as a body... as other. Through watercolour movement, rhythmic stitching, and simple paper folding, we create space for reflection, integration, and the emergence of personal insights. The slow, meditative pace allows for authentic expression to wash over us and unfold naturally, supporting both creative possibilities and therapeutic reflection.
