Water Rising: Activism, Astrology & The Work That Reconnects
Event description
A three-part online gathering exploring the Work That Reconnects and activism through the element of water and astrology.
Water is the original activist. It adapts, persists and refuses to be contained. It wears down rock, reshapes land and always finds a way through.
You are water
Water is life itself and carries tears, tides, rain, rivers, blood, oceans. Water reminds us that we are part of cycles far vaster than we realise (and far more powerful than our dominant culture wants us to know)
We are water
Right now, water is both threat and threatened: polluted, dammed, stolen; rising, flooding, destroying.
⏶ A key question for us will be:
What does water have to say about our time of extraordinary planetary unravelling, what's that got to do with you and your role, and how can the archetypal language of astrology help us translate all this?
That's a pretty long question
I know but it's a good one, right?
⏶ The Grand Water Trine
We’re meeting at a powerful moment: late October to early December 2025 brings a rare grand water trine connecting Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Our world is being invited to open up to grief, imagination, intuition and deep connection in this time.
This little series connects all this: integrating the personal, the global and the archetypal.
⏶ What you'll learn
Join us to learn what water teaches us about feeling, grief, imagination and persistence.
You’ll discover your personal water signatures in your chart and why they matter: where you hold depth, intuition, or emotional power, and where grief and imagination flow most strongly for you.
We’ll look at what your water placements say about how you might find your own rhythm of connection, insight, and action in these weird and wild times.
⏶ The flow
Each session is two hours on Zoom and there are various chances to book in across the Trine period of late October to early December.
Part One: Learning
Introduction to the grand water trine of 2025: what does it want to say about our planetary moment?
Archetypal meanings of water in astrology and the Work That Reconnects
Connecting water elementally and astrologically to climate breakdown and systemic unravelling
Part Two: Exploring
Small groups exploring how water shows up in our natal charts: understanding your natal water placements, aspects and transits
Understanding how the grand water trine of 2025 is activating your chart
Sharing stories of water, activism and being a human in now-times in a supported group
Part Three: Embodying
A full Work That Reconnects spiral with water as our guide
Ritual, sharing and practices to embody grief, gratitude, interconnection and action
Integrating your new knowledge of yourself, and exploring what that means for how you go forth in these times
Optional check-in's with Siobhán along the way.
⏶ Sold out? More coming
Our groups have to be tiny so we can all connect and explore our charts. If the tickets sell out, be sure to add your name to the waitlist (it will invite you to do so on the booking page) and that lets us know to open another round.
⏶ No experience required
You do not need experience of the Work That Reconnects or astrology at all, but an interest in the way these languages of connection aim to support us and fortify us for these bewildering times will be useful (or you'll be pretty bored and Siobhán will be sad).
Here's a podcast episode that talks about astrology in context with the Work That Reconnects.
⏶ What happens when you book
When you reserve your place, you’ll be invited to choose slots for each part. There will be options for North America evenings, NZ/AUS evenings, and UK evenings, with a couple of ad-hoc times added to suit everyone.
If none of the times work, we’ll do our best to make it work another way. If it still doesn’t fit you’ll get a full refund.
Siobhán will be in touch to say hi and to help you get your natal chart ready.
⏶ Donation-based pricing: guidance for you
Everything we do is offered by donation, but for some events we do need to meet a minimum threshold to cover costs.
Donation guidance:
The standard combined rate for all three session: $160 NZD / $95 USD /£80 GBP
Donate at or above the standard rate if you can comfortably meet your basic needs while paying the standard rate, and/or you have investments, property, savings etc, and/or you have a relatively high degree of earning power due to education, gender, race, class background, or other factors and/or you want to empower me to help people who otherwise would not have access to these offerings
Make a donation below the standard rate if paying it would threaten your ability to meet your and your loved ones’ basic needs and/or you experience discrimination or violence related to being a person of colour, LGBTQ+, disabled, neurodivergent, or another marginalised identity.
We offer other events which blend nature, ecology, activism and astrology. Pop your name on the email list for updates if you like.
