Water Safety Day

Event Overview: Aqua Duks Swim School is excited to host its 4th Annual Water Safety Day! Unfortunately, accidental drowning remains the number 1 cause of death for children 4 years old and younger. We need to Stop Drowning Now! The purpose of this event is to provide critical water safety information to our community, offer training and resources to children and families that will make them safer around the water, and to fundraise for this great cause. Drowning is preventable and your participation in our event is one important way we can make an impact.

Opportunities for Local Businesses: We are inviting local businesses catering to children and families to participate in our event by setting up a booth to promote their products or services. For a fee of $250, businesses can showcase their services and offerings to hundreds of families and children while supporting a worthy cause. All proceeds from booth fees will be donated to The Hope Floats Foundation, contributing directly to swim lesson scholarships for children in need. We encourage you to join us, and invite your current clientele to join in the fun and learning. The more families that attend the bigger the impact we will have!

Event Highlights:

• In-water instruction - Our certified instructors will be teaching several swimming and water safety skills for FREE!
• Anaheim Fire Department - Check out a fire truck and get important water safety information from your local heroes.
• Anaheim Police Department - Chat with a local officers, check out a police car, and learn about water safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• CHOC Hospital - Nurses offering CPR Demonstrations to equip attendees with essential life-saving techniques.
• Swim Brayv Mermaids - Children get to swim and interact with real mermaids in the pool for memorable photo opportunities.
• Local Partner Booths - Children and families are encouraged to visit booths of local businesses to learn about their products and services and collect some swag.
• Face painting - Enjoy FREE face painting for children, adding a fun element to the event.
• Dunk tank - Take part in the excitement of our dunk tank, where attendees can take turns dunking their favorite for a good cause.
• Meet and greet with a Gold Medal Olympian.
