Watercolor Painting Workshop

Join us and discover the joy of watercolor in this fun and beginner-friendly class! Explore the magic of watercolor through hands-on painting exercises, easy-to-learn techniques, color mixing, and live demonstrations by an experienced art educator. Whether you've never picked up a brush or you're looking to build confidence, you'll learn in a relaxed, supportive environment alongside fellow creative beginners. Come experiment, create, and watch your paintings come to life—one brushstroke at a time!

For ages 14 years+ and adults!

This workshop will be led by Carolyn Todd. Inspired by a childhood exploring the diverse landscapes of Texas, Carolyn has dedicated a lifelong career to creating and teaching art. Holding both a BFA and MA, she has taught in public schools, universities, and art museums, sharing a passion for watercolor and other painting media. Her artwork is featured in private collections across Texas, Mexico, and the Northeast, and she was honored to serve as an Artist in Residence for the National Park Service at Amistad National Recreation Area. She believes art deepens our connection to the world and enjoys helping students build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of painting.

Class will meet at the Bee Cave Arts Foundation Gallery at the Hill Country Galleria, in suite F160, across from Dillard's and H&M.
