Watercolour fundamentals for beginners

An adults beginner short course to either get you started with this fun and beautiful art medium or to give your forgotten skills a refresh. Join me, Rebecca Prince, for four x 2.5 hr sessions of exploring with watercolours. We will be covering colour mixing and learning how to develop your preferred colour palette, as well as varying watercolour techniques that can be applied to different subject matter. During the four weeks, we will also explore layering techniques, how to make loose, natural and interesting marks with different brushes, how to embrace the wild nature of the paints and how and when to add detail. Materials fees: 

Watercolour paper: $1 per A3 sheet

Palette and paints $15

paint usage there after 50 cents per paint serve (1 small pea sized blob)

Brush, water jar, sponge useage: free

Watercolour starter pack includes palette, paints (8 colours pre squeezed on to palette), sponge, and 4 A3 watercolour sheets total price = $25
