Watercolours for Self Expression

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Watercolours for Self Expression is a supportive and encouraging session facilitated by local artist Bethany Neck.

Learn some techniques with watercolours, experimenting with natural landscapes, still objects and add to it your imagination. Anything is possible!

We will use a unique set of warm ups & projects I  designed for my studio art practice to develop painting skills & personal style through playful exploration. Colourful watercolours enable me to learn fundamental principles of design, while taking risks to develop a freer approach and expressive style. Expect a gentle ‘integrated creative arts approach’ with movement warm ups, music or innovative paint exercises to ignite creativity for simple watercolour projects, in a friendly, supportive social class, where all levels of experience are welcome.

These sessions will include some time spent outside getting inspiration for your art at the peaceful and scenic Woorabinda Conservation Park.

$150 pp for 4 weeks with all materials included.  Each session runs from 9.30 - 11.30am.
