Waves Like Mountains - Exhibition Launch
Event description
Waves Like Mountains
Waves Like Mountains is an exhibition presenting a suite of new drawings by local artist Kristone Capistrano.
The show tracks the growing gesturality and abstraction of his ink and charcoal works that coincides with his move to Kirribilli mid 2022. Refined and closely rendered fiugrations begin to melt into greater gesturality and loosely moving forms that resemble mountains and waves; vibrations, wavelengths and dancing lines oscillating in shades of black and grey.
The exhibition will run from 24 October until 7 November.
