Waves of Hope - flow, dip and paddle for blood cancer
Event description
Set yourself a unique challenge for 2025 by joining us on the May bank holiday Monday for a flow, dip & paddle on the golden sands of Helen’s Bay beach.
This event has 3 elements, carefully guided by teacher Jennifer Greenlees:
1. Beach yoga – a guided yoga session – relaxation and stretching
2. A stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lesson – how to balance on the water and strengthen your core – building up from sitting to kneeling and then standing
3. A culmination of both yoga and paddleboarding – SUP yoga puts your body and balance to the test as you try a range of yoga poses on the paddleboard on the water.
You are encouraged to bring your own wetsuit and/or paddleboard if you have one, however a limited number of these can be rented from Jennifer if needed for an additional cost – please email us on info@llni.co.uk stating WOH equipment rental.
This event will suit all levels from beginner to more expert yoga and SUP as Jennifer will introduce progressively more challenging poses.
We are thrilled that Jennifer has agreed to guide this event, ensuring maximum safety and correct practice at all times. She has embarked on her own personal challenge of paddleboarding solo around the coastline of Ireland and is an expert in mindfulness, body balance, yoga, massage and nutrition.
Ticket price includes the 3 elements with teaching, and a donation to blood cancer research.
