Event description

Take a Breath and Reconnect with Wayapa Wuurrk.

Our Wayapa day retreat has been designed for you at Woodlands Historic Park and Bulla, just a 25-minute drive from the centre of Melbourne, on country steeped in cultural stories and history.

We invite you to step away from the "busyness" of your life, to take a breath and reconnect to elements in nature that play an essential role in your wellbeing. We're inviting you to just "Be in and Be with" nature and yourself while you connect to the 14 elements of Wayapa.

We'll introduce you to, and lead you through, a Wayapa mindfulness meditation and movement. You will connect to the elements on this beautiful land, rich in history, to tap into all your senses - to take in the sounds, aromas, sights and textures of the natural surroundings.

Our aim is to create an intimate and inclusive space for you to take time to breathe and reconnect; thus, we're limiting this event to 10 participants.

Join Teresa Corso and Diana Barnett to guide your journey through the practice and activities that honour this beautiful, internationally accredited indigenous practice - Wayapa Wuurrk.

What else is included?

  • Herbal teas, Light Lunch and Healthy snacks

Book your ticket here. Once you have registered for the Retreat, we will send you all the logistical details, what you need to bring and the address of this day retreat so you can organise yourself.

If you'd like to find out more, please contact Teresa +61 433 166 050 or Diana on +61 400 106 626.

You'll note we have used a kangaroo in our banner.
This is a deliberate decision.
Why?
The kangaroo reminds us to nurture ourselves.
To take time out to rest and care for our wellbeing, to connect with our natural environment, and to create stability in our lives.
