We invite you to join us for the Wayfinding for Treaty Partnership - Pasifika Series - Advanced Course, where we take the next step in our journey as Tangata Pasifika: learning how to actively apply Te Tiriti o Waitangi in our work, communities, and everyday lives.

This advanced course is designed for those who already have foundational knowledge of Te Tiriti and are ready to move from understanding to action. Whether you are a leader in your organisation, an advocate for social justice, or simply passionate about becoming a valued Treaty partner, this course will equip you with practical tools, strategies, and frameworks to make meaningful contributions to honouring Te Tiriti.

Through hands-on exercises, real-world case studies, and guided discussions, participants will learn how to:

  • Integrate Te Tiriti into decision-making and governance.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with Māori communities and organisations.
  • Identify and challenge institutional biases that hinder Treaty partnership.
  • Create environments that foster cultural safety and inclusivity.
  • Contribute to the restoration of equity and tino rangatiratanga (Māori self-determination).

We’ve created this advanced seminar to help you work out HOW to uphold Te Tiriti in practical and impactful ways. Together, we will use real-life scenarios from participants to navigate challenges and identify how we can ensure that our actions reflect Te Tiriti. This is a working waka – with no passengers – where everyone contributes to the journey of being a valued Treaty partner.

Lead trainer Faumuina Felolini Maria Tafuna’i and her team have been developing tools and frameworks specifically to guide this journey. With their expertise and support, you will explore how to integrate Te Tiriti into decision-making, build meaningful relationships with Māori, and challenge institutional biases.

If you are ready to move beyond understanding and into action, join us for this transformative course that will enable you to confidently navigate the path of being a valued Treaty partner.

Nau mai, haere mai – your journey continues here.
