We Are One - Official Bondi Commemoration & Chanukah Celebration

WE ARE ONE

One People. One Heart. One Song.

An Official Bondi Commemorative Event & Chanukah Celebration

Sunday, 6 December 2026 | Sydney

Gates Open: 5:30 PM | Program Begins: 7:30 PM

One Year On: From Darkness to Light

One year after the tragic Bondi attack, we come together as one community to honour and remember the 15 precious lives lost, stand alongside their families, and reaffirm the strength, unity and resilience of the Jewish people and the wider Australian community.

WE ARE ONE will be a powerful and deeply meaningful evening of remembrance, reflection, solidarity and hope.

As we commemorate the lives taken from us, we will also celebrate the third night of Chanukah, transforming darkness into light through the power of unity, faith and music.

A Night of Remembrance, Unity and Celebration

The evening will feature:

• Official Commemoration: A moving tribute honouring the 15 precious souls lost in the Bondi attack.

• Chanukah Menorah Lighting: A powerful symbol of hope, resilience and the triumph of light over darkness.

• Live Musical Performances: Internationally renowned Jewish music artists Benny Friedman and Mordechai Shapiro, together with an exciting lineup of surprise guests.

• Community Unity: Bringing together families, community leaders, dignitaries and Australians from all walks of life in a shared message of remembrance, solidarity and hope.

This is more than an event. It is an opportunity to stand together, honour those we have lost and demonstrate that even in our darkest moments, our unity and light will continue to shine.

One People. One Heart. One Song.
