we are the mainstream with the generous support of Refugee Art Project present Authentic Attachement: Parenting and Trauma Healing with facilitator Becca De Souza.
This workshop is for anyone who identifies as a Woman or Gender Diverse Person of Colour who has children, works with children or has children in their lives, or is an adult wanting to understand a brief overview of childhood trauma and healing.
This workshop will examine:
- Breaking generational trauma and toxic cycles
- Developing our own Parental Values
- Attachment and authenticity
- Completing the stress cycle
- Ticket includes a light, vegan lunch
Presenter bio
Becca De Souza is a Shawnee woman, born and raised on Turtle Island
who now lives on Dharawal Country. She works in birth education and
support while parenting three spicy school aged children. Becca is an
advocate for *more* peaceful parenting as a means of social and family
healing, and has personal experience parenting with a mental illness.
