The Marian Street Theatre ACTION team cordially invites you to celebrate the arts in Ku-ring-gai.
This exciting family event includes performances from a number of community groups - orchestral and choral, dance and theatre.
Take the opportunity to join in the fun too. Feel free to come in costume or simply wear a touch of red for our parade. There’s also a free cool drink for everyone.
Our performers represent just some of the groups who are looking forward to sharing performance space in the re-imagined Marian Street Theatre as an arts and cultural hub (current DA approved; finance pending).
An information centre will also show the range of arts groups and training available right here in Ku-ring-gai.
The community wants its theatre back as an arts and cultural centre. It is nearly a decade and a half since the petition to restore the theatre with over 2,600 signatures was tabled at Council. Come to enjoy the performances, and help advance this project to the next stage.
BYO chairs or picnic rug and dress up if you wish.
