We listened and we changed: Mainstreaming anti-stigma and discrimination in suicide prevention
Description
Since 2022 See Me have supported Scotland’s national suicide prevention strategy by working in partnership with Time Space Compassion (TSC) to develop an anti-stigma approach.
In this session we welcome TSC’s Implementation Lead, Linda Hunter to reflect on our partnership journey through key moments of change: We connected – We were challenged – We listened – We deepened our relationships – We put our learning into practice – We continue to learn.
Together, we will explore what happens when exclusion and stigma are recognised as evidence that our systems and practices may need to change.
The session invites mental health and suicide prevention leaders to reflect on a central question: What does it take to build suicide prevention systems that are willing to be challenged, and capable of listening, learning and changing?
