We ❤️ OLC Story Telling Day

Are you a regular Olympic Leisure Centre (OLC) user? Join us to share the love for the OLC and tell your stories at the inaugural We ❤️ OLC Story Telling Day.

11am-1pm, Holstep Health (formerly Banyule Community Health), 21 Alamein Rd, Heidelberg West 3081

The OLC is on a cusp of major changes with the decommissioning of aquatic facilities, relocation of gym facilities, and introduction of a library service. We want to collect stories about what makes the OLC a special place to connect and get well, to document our unique community and tell the world how much it means to us, now and in the future.

All OLC users are invited, including long-term and newcomers, avid swimmers and gym users, and everyone in between. We would love to get diverse experiences and backgrounds to celebrate our community.

🎤📸 On the day, we will run individual and group interviews to capture stories that can be shared in the community and used for advocacy for the current and future OLC. We will also capture photographs to put a face to the stories.

Meet those who want to listen and together we can share some memories over a cuppa. Don’t be shy! Come and join us and help to make a case for the Leisure Centre we need.
