Wear It Purple Day Panel

Wear it Purple Day is an annual LGBTQIA+ awareness day celebrated across Australia, dedicated to honouring diversity and supporting young people from the LGBTQIA+ community. Organized by Wear it Purple, a student-run, not-for-profit organization, the day features inspiring presentations and workshops.

This year, QUEST (University of Sydney Queer STEM), The Faculty of Engineering, The Faculty of Science, and the Careers Centre are joining forces to host a special Panel Event. Expect an industry panel featuring experts from Science and Engineering, a light lunch with sweet treats, and valuable insights into employability and support for LGBTQIA+ individuals in the workforce. 

Tickets are free and open to all University of Sydney students, staff and affiliates.
