Eastern Health Wear It Purple Day Walk & Afternoon Tea (Box Hill)

CONNECT, REFLECT, CELEBRATE WITH US THIS WEAR IT PURPLE DAY!
Wear it Purple Day is a day to send a visual and positive message to queer, gender diverse and non-binary youth, that we stand with them and will support them on the journey to acceptance and respect, and that there is space for them to feel safe, empowered and included like we all deserve.
JOIN US AT BOX HILL FOR A PURPLE WALK & AFTERNOON TEA -
On the 25th of August we will be embarking on a walk to show our solidarity (wearing purple of course!)
This is a chance for LGBTQIA+ people and allies who work at Eastern Health to connect, celebrate the day together, and get some exercise!
It is also an opportunity to meet Eastern Health's new LGBTIQ+ Liaison Officers!
Meet at BHH entrance. Arrive from 1.45pm for a walk start time of 2pm (approximately 30 minutes).
Afternoon tea will commence at 2.30pm (The Atrium)
All are welcomed and if you can’t join us, you can still take part in the day by wearing purple :)
