Weaving Circle with Jodie Munday

Join local artist and Southern Tablelands Arts Aboriginal Arts Officer, Jodie Munday, to learn and develop skills in traditional and contemporary weaving. No prior weaving experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

This creative weaving session is suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

About Jodie Munday

Jodie Munday is a local artist and the Aboriginal Arts Officer for Southern Tablelands Arts. She has been studying art and developing her creative practice for most of her life. Her passion for visual arts began in high school and has since led her to undertake a range of studies, establish her own business, Cr8ive Art, in 2011, and continue building her skills across multiple art forms.

Jodie's work has been featured at Goulburn Regional Art Gallery, Connect@Gunning Station and Gallery on Track in Goulburn. She has participated in numerous local exhibitions and has worked in schools supporting students and staff, including through Aboriginal Education programs.

Her practice encompasses drawing, photography, printmaking, pottery, wood burning, weaving and painting.
