Event description

Kaya! Welcome to the Weaving Stories of Boodja Cowaramup ​Community Art project by local artists Cara Ratajczak & Michelle Bretherton. The project will run throughout 2022 and involve local Artists, Wardandi Custodians, community & nature groups who will bring to the community a series of FREE, fun, educational & engaging CREATIVE workshops for children ages (4-12yrs) & families!

This is Workshop #15 - 'Native Animal Drawing & Masked Owl Construction'. 

In this session we will be working with Artist Cynamon Aeria to create our large MASKED OWL woven sculpture for the community garden. Children will also be invited to help draw and design some of the other animals which we will be making. We will use these drawings to help guide the design of the final sculptures for the community garden.

Date/Time: Saturday September 24th, 2022 time: 10am-12:30pm 

Venue: Cowaramup Community Garden, in the event of wet weather the workshop will be held at the Duggan Pavilion near the Skatepark and basketball courts in Cowaramup.

Please book one ticket per child aged 4 to 12 years old. (Younger siblings are welcome to come along). 
Adults do not need to book a ticket.
