Kaya! Welcome to the Weaving Stories of Boodja Cowaramup Community Art project by local artists Cara Ratajczak & Michelle Bretherton. The project will run throughout 2022 and involve local Artists, Wardandi Custodians, community & nature groups who will bring to the community a series of FREE, fun, educational & engaging CREATIVE workshops for children ages (4-12yrs) & families!

This is Workshop #18 - 'Little Bird Making'

In this session we will be making fun colourful little bird sculptures for the community garden that will be hidden in the eaves & sit in the trees. These birds will be small & require a bit of intricate wire work so we will be making one colourful bird per family with the help of parents/carers. (These sculptures will live in the Cowaramup Community garden, but you will be welcome to take home left over materials to create a little bird for home!)

Date/Time: Saturday 22 October, 2022 time: 10am-12:00pm

Venue: Cowaramup Community Garden, in the event of extreme wet weather the workshop may be held at the Duggan Pavilion near the Skatepark and basketball courts in Cowaramup.

Please book one ticket per family.
