Catherine McDowell:

Catherine holds qualifications in Herbal Medicine, graduating from Dorothy Hall’s College of Herbal medicine and more recently with Denis Stewart. 

She also holds Qualifications in Breathwork, Counselling, Training and Equestrian Coaching and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

She is a Director and Senior Herbalist of McDowells Herbal in Bathurst, NSW where under her guidance and leadership McDowells Herbal has become a pioneer in the herbal medicine industry, offering natural health solutions to humans and their animals worldwide. 

In her spare time she manages Winterwood Farm- a small sport horse breeding and training facility where herbs and holistic approaches to management, training, fertility and rehabilitation are at the forefront.

Catherine is recognised in Australia and overseas as the preeminent expert for developing herbal rehabilitation programs for horses and canines. She writes for many equine and canine journals such as Equine News , is a regular presenter at Melbourne Equintana ( an elite international gathering of all things Equine) , and blogs for the 17,000 followers on the McDowells Facebook Page. She is also asked to submit articles regularly to various online forums worldwide.

Refund policy

Please be advised that cancellations made up to one month before a scheduled event will be processed without a penalty. Cancellations made 2-4 weeks prior to a schedule event will be subject to a charge of 50% of the original ticket cost. Cancellations made 2 weeks or less prior to a scheduled event will not be entitled to any refund. However a full refund will be available to members for any events that have been cancelled or any future events that maybe cancelled due to COVID-19.
