How do you measure the value of your journalism, and how do you tell your organisation’s impact story? 

Join a workshop with the team at Impact Architects, who develop customised impact frameworks and measurement plans for newsrooms of various sizes, including local and international for-profit and non-profit organisations. IA has supported dozens of organisations in creating and implementing IA Impact Trackers in order to measure the offline impact of their work and to communicate this impact to various stakeholders, including members, subscribers, and institutional donors.

TRAINERS

Dr Lindsay Green Barber, Principal & Founder, Impact Architects. Lindsay founded Impact Architects in 2017 and is a leader in the media impact space. A trained political scientist, she brings social science research methods to bear on complex challenges in the media and social change space.

Rosemary D’Amour, Senior Manager, Media Impact Strategy & Engagement. Rosemary joined IA in 2022 and brings more than ten years of experience in journalism, media development, philanthropy, and local government.

SPEAKER

Alec Saelens, Impact Manager, Solutions Journalism Network and former Revenue Project manager. He is passionate about helping newsrooms align editorial and business objectives by leveraging solutions journalism. He is a co-founder of The Bristol Cable, the UK’s pioneering local media cooperative. He worked as a researcher and coach for the Membership Puzzle Project and as an analyst for NewsGuard, assessing the transparency and reliability of news websites.
