Scam aware, cyber smart: Supporting young people in a digital world 

Join us for our next Financial Wellbeing Network event during Scams Awareness Week 2025.   

Coinciding with the launch of a new workshop 'Becoming scam savvy' for Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation financial education in schools program, we are exploring the complex world of scams, deceptive design practices and online safety issues that young people navigate.

Discussion will cover how we can better equip and protect young people, including the role of policy responses and frameworks. 

Join us to learn more about scams from our experienced panellists:  

  • Chandni Gupta, Deputy CEO, Consumer Policy Research Centre 

  • David Lacey, Managing Director, IDCARE

  • Jess Wilson, CEO, Good Things Australia 

Ecstra’s Financial Education Manager Dr Tracey West will moderate the discussion.
