This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

A large number of New Zealand employers benefit from employing migrant workers. These employers will need to navigate constantly changing policies and hooks, including a raft of recent changes introduced by Immigration New Zealand on 7 April 2024.

In this 1 hour seminar, we will cover some of the policy changes and hooks that employers should be aware of when employing migrant workers, including:

  • Recent introduction of the minimum skills threshold
  • Infringement offences and what this means for employers
  • Workforce planning around maximum periods of stay
  • New labour market testing requirements
  • And more….
