Massage Therapy & End of Life Care- How it works and why it is so special.

Without a doubt, massage can be both the most rewarding and most challenging of professions to pursue.

Without exception, one of the biggest challenges we face as bodyworkers is when we are asked to massage those in palliative and/or end of life care. Within this webinar we will explore the various aspects of this for the bodyworker.

How do you address your own feelings about death in order to treat those that are dying?

How do you find the words and prepare your emotional world for what you will find?

Where does massage fit into the complementary health care paradigm at the end of life and how do we work as part of that team?

How do we hold space for those clients that ask us to care for them in their most vulnerable hour?

By offering massage therapy as a physical comfort for palliative care we can honor the experience of the client and find solidarity and connection in our common human condition.

As a massage therapist making the palliative connection, learning from it and being inspired to a fuller life while you are still given the opportunity to do so is something that we can all aspire to - we just have to be brave enough to step into it with a full and willing heart.

Join me to find out how.
