2020 Webinar: Role of the Return to Work Coordinator

Course description: This webinar, delivered in 4 sessions over 2 days, has been developed and endorsed by WorkSafe Victoria and will provide participants with the practical tools and knowledge to facilitate the successful return to work of an injured worker in accordance with the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation Compensation Act, 2013. The course will cover:
- The responsibilities of the RTW Coordinator;
- The legal obligations of both employers and workers in the RTW process;
- Identifying suitable employment options and developing effective RTW plans;
- Monitoring the progress of an injured worker's recovery;
- Communicating effectively with the injured worker, their treating practitioner and other personnel involved in the RTW process;
- Responding to workplace injuries.

This course will be broken into 4 separate sessions. Participants must complete each session to complete the course.
Session dates and times are as follows:
Session 1: Wed 11th November, 9am - 11.30am
Session 2: Wed 11th November, 1.30pm - 4pm
Session 3: Thurs 12th November, 9am - 11.30am
Session 4: Thurs 12th November, 1.30pm - 4pm
In addition, participants will be required to complete pre-work. This information will be emailed prior to the event.
