    Webinar Series: Fasting

Fasting has been a part of the human experience for thousands of years. From sacred rituals, religious observances and to facilitate healing of the human body. Join Naturopath and sports nutritionist Kira Sutherland as she explores the traditional naturopathic history and application of fasting.

Learn how fasting has always been a part of the 'nature cure' philosophy and how it can be applied in a modern setting, from water fasting and traditional European juicing to intermittent fasting. How can we utilise some of these principles in our clinical practice, and what differences do we need to be aware of for its individual application?

Part 1 of this webinar series  will cover  the history of fasting and traditional techniques. Part 2 will cover modern styles of fasting, research on fasting and intermittent fasting.
