WEBINAR | The use of Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback (HRV-B) in Clinical Practice

With more than 10 years of experience in the use of Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback (HRV-B) in clinical practice, this webinar combines the latest science on heart intelligence with practical tools for self-regulation. Relying on the polyvagal theory developed by Prof. Stephen Porges, this webinar will support practitioners in understanding better how extreme stress can lead to complex and long-lasting consequences for emotional and physical health.

    This lecture will:

    • Explain HRV-B and the science of the Smart Heart by using the HeartMath system.
    • Outline the Rationale for the use of HRV-B through the Polyvagal theory.
    • Outline practical and effective therapeutic ways of integrating HRV-B in your clinical practice in work with adults and children.
    • Outline how biofeedback benefits clients and how to assess your client's breathing pattern.

The webinar is suitable for all professionals working with trauma and looking to understand the impact of developmental trauma on the brain.
