Description

This webinar celebrates the opening of Community Research’s Queerness in Aotearoa Research and Resource Special Collection by bringing together researchers Sandra Dickon and Ana Tashkoff from Hohou te Rongo Kahukura - Outing Violence, and Dr. Taylor Le Cui  from Toitu Takatapui - Rainbow Tick to discuss community-led research in LGBTTQIA+ spaces.

In this webinar the speakers will take us through some of their respective recent research, and then we will move into a panel discussion on some of the complexities and privileges of researching within takatāpui and rainbow communities. We will also have space for Q&A with the audience.

The speakers all have contributed to Community Research's special collection, and this webinar is an opportunity to celebrate research which is led from within our communities, uplifting LGBTTQIA+ voices and experiences.

All are welcome. The webinar is 12-1, Thursday 20 August. If you can't make it, the webinar recording will be available after the event on Community Research’s website.

If possible, please consider a donation

Community Research is a not-for-profit organisation and we would love your support to help us continue to champion research by and for communities. If you are able, please consider adding a donation when you register for this webinar. Ngā mihi maioha.
