Webinar Thirteen: Starting young - Social impact leadership at school

This event has passed Register

Event description

In 2019, Randwick Public School teacher Daniel Pozarik approached the Centre for Social Impact (CSI) to co-design an innovative program for the school - a social impact leadership program.

The idea was to foster a new kind of leadership through teaching children how to implement positive change in their local community.

The school invited students to submit applications to join the program, and were met with incredible ideas for how to change our world for the better.

CSI’s Dr Ali Walker led the team to design a five-module interactive program that was piloted at the school in Term 1, 2020.

This impact2020 webinar will focus on social impact leadership, what it means, and how Randwick Public School’s students have responded to the pilot.

Students from the school will join the webinar to talk about their experience.

Please note: This webinar starts at 11:30am (AEST) and registrations will close an hour before.

The webinar will be recorded and emailed to attendees in a few weeks.
Later in the year all impact2020 webinar recordings will be publicly
available.

This impact2020 webinar is a free event presented by CSI.
