Webinar Thirty Five: The future of education - In conversation with David Gonski, Peter Shergold & Kristy Muir

This event has passed Register

Event description

David Gonski AC and Professor Peter Shergold AC are names synonymous with social impact and education. And we’re lucky to have them both in the virtual room with our CEO Professor Kristy Muir in our final impact2020 webinar, The future of education.

David Gonski is the Chancellor of UNSW and is joined by long-time friend and collaborator, Professor Peter Shergold, Chancellor of Western Sydney University, and Chair of the CSI board.

Together with CSI CEO Kristy Muir, they will be discussing:

  • Educational inequity: influences inside and outside educational institution gates
  • Whole of life and continuing education patterns: what does that mean to disadvantage, career advice, job changes, the rise of AI, active citizenship and more?
  • Reshaping education for social impact in the future

And of course, much of the discussion will feature against the backdrop of COVID-19.

Join us for this very special event, and the final in our impact2020 series of social impact webinars.

Please note: This webinar starts at 11:00am (AEST) and registrations will close an hour before the webinar starts.

The webinar will be recorded and emailed to attendees in a few weeks. Later in the year all impact2020 webinar recordings will be publicly available.

This impact2020 webinar is a free event presented by the Centre for Social Impact (CSI).
